Botkier and PurseBlog Collaborate on Reader Designed Handbag

Botkier has teamed up with popular handbag website PurseBlog for a very special handbag collaboration. Rather than the "experts" telling fashion fans what they want, PurseBlog readers will decide on the design.

Polls set up on the website will allow the site's fans to vote on the bag's silhouette, leathers, and hardware. The possible looks take their cues from some of Botkier's most popular designs: the Taylor Crossbody, the Uma Satchel, the Trigger Satchel, and the Sasha Duffle bag. Then Botkier will add leathers created exclusively for the project. PurseBlog readers can choose from glossy copper snakeskin printed calfskin, black lizard embossed lambskin, distressed grey washed lambskin, and red lambskin with a mauve diamond cut laser finish. Then the hardware is up for negotiation: either gunmetal, satin nickel, satin gold, or antique brass.

Once the initial voting is complete, Botkier will mock up some completed purses for fans to vote on. Once the final design is decided upon, Botkier will sell the finished purse on their website.
