This Candy bag from Big Buddha is every bit as sweet as its name suggests.

Of course, most modern girls aren't looking for sweet in a satchel. They'd prefer something more sophisticated than this baby pink canvas number. Combining the feminine fabric with shiny metallic trim only adds to the gooeyness.

Even if you are a girly girl, I can't imagine this bag having enough to impress you. Canvas is a great inexpensive alternative to leather, but the glitzy faux patent trim only cheapens it. At least it's lightweight though, a real bonus considering how full this baby can get. It's also mercifully free of the bows and buttons that could really take the design over the edge.

With space to spare it's a good thing Big Buddha has given us plenty of pockets. Those zip and slip pouches are sure to help keep our goodies in order when we're out and about. A zip top closure keeps all your precious cargo safe and sound.

This is the kind of purse I can imagine the Harajuku girls of Japan lapping up, but I'm personally looking for more sophistication in a satchel.
