I'm not sure that velvet and animal-print are the best pairing for a handbag. However, if anyone can pull it off, it's going to be eccentric and retro-loving Betsey Johnson.

Not one to ever shy away from bold prints and quirky details, Betsey Johnson makes quite a statement with this amusingly named Hottie Spotty tote. Although that title could certainly produce a multitude of various mental images, it is somehow completely appropriate for this dramatic and eyecatching purse.

With its fuschia and black leopard-patterned velvet, leather trim, and oversized bow on the front, this large tote bag is all about the visual impact. It's kind of impossible not to notice it, too. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for women who gravitate toward neutrals, but it would be perfect for those who love to stand out in a crowd.
