Model and television personality Alexa Chung has been labeled a style icon and It girl due to her unique, quirky sense of fashion. Despite the fact that her MTV show It’s on with Alexa Chung was recently cancelled, the British star is still catching headlines in the fashion world.
Designer label Mulberry has designed a handbag inspired specifically by Alexa with plans to release it early next year along with its spring/summer collection. Similar to the model’s classic meets eclectic outfits, this new bag is a twist on one of Mulberry’s very popular and very traditional bags, the Bayswater.
The Alexa tote, which will be available in multiple colors and prints, can be carried on your shoulder or across the body with its extra strap. Although the handbag isn’t due out in stores or Mulberry’s online shop until January 12, Chung has already been carrying around her namesake for a few months. The Alexa bag is set to retail at just over $1,100.
