I haven’t seen a brown suede bag that isn’t a hobo in a long time. It’s a fabric that seems to have been relegated to moccasins and fringed boho jackets. Valentino has offered a totally new take on the material and made it look both luxurious and classic.
I am so excited by the design of this shoulder bag. What it lacks in complexity it completely makes up for in sheer simple beauty. The shape is simple and tailored, and the delicate chain strands gather into a uniquely beautiful strap. Plus, it has another beautiful chain shoulder strap. Honestly, both of these are a little thin and impractical, but I wouldn’t trade the look in for utility.
Okay, honestly, $1,995 seems like a high price to pay for this bag, but it’s so good looking that it’s hard to resist.
