Studs might be becoming a bit passé, but Steve Madden manages to use them well on this BManic wristlet.
The name is a bit misnomer, as there’s really nothing too outrageous about this purse. While studs tend to add some rock and roll edge, there’s nothing too revolutionary about their use here. The three columns of large silver studs are rock and roll the same way that Nickelback is rock and roll, pleasant to be around but not edgy enough to shock.
It does the job though, with a decent amount of space for carrying essentials, and a convenient zippered pocket for keeping them organized. With so many wristlets offering only tiny patch pockets, or no pockets at all, that’s a real plus. I also like the handy wrist strap, which is easily removable if you want to carry the purse as a clutch.
I quite like the BManic in classic black, as the metallics seem a bit brassy for my taste. However they could be just the thing for carrying to your next party. After all, at a mere $38.95 you might want to get one in every shade!
