Sondra Roberts builds on the previous Trapunto purse design with this elegant knotted beauty.
The raised design of this purse builds on the quilted technique employed before in purses from this range. In my opinion, the embossed surface works well as a contrast against the smooth tan knot, especially as the colors contrast beautifully too.
Mustard yellow may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but with the retro seventies pattern the shade really works. It is even better as there are so many wonderful winter coats out there that would work perfectly with this informal yet elegant clutch.
Personally I don’t think that this clutch works as well in the black patent version, which forgoes that great contrast in favor of somewhat over the top glossiness! Whichever you prefer, however, you still get a handy functional leather shoulder strap. Equally too, whilst the tan lining isn’t my favorite, you still get a handy interior pocket; so it is all about what really matters to you!
All in all, this Sondra Roberts bag is an elegant purse with an interesting feature; perfect for those dark winter days!
