See by Chloe is the French label’s more accessible diffusion line. I’ve always been a fan of diffusion lines, but I hate when they resort to slapping logos on canvas tote bags and calling them high fashion. This bag isn’t exactly that. It’s cool, but a little under designed as far as I’m concerned.
The print on this shopper is very vintage cool. The ferocious tiger is done in a great laid back color palette that makes it really interesting. It has kind of a high school mascot feel to it, if high school mascots were kind of awesome.
The tote itself is really nothing new. It’s just your average black canvas tote. It’s not lined and it doesn’t have an internal pocket, which is a bummer. Basically, it seems like the kind of bag that you should get free with the purchase of a more expensive item.
$95 just seems like too much to pay for this bag, but if it was free I would totally carry it.
