Proenza Schouler isn’t one of my personal favorite lines, but its aesthetic is so reliable and minimal that I can’t help but respect it. The Keep It All is a truly timeless, beautiful satchel.
This merlot color immediately makes me think of the 70s. Like it would go really well with corduroy bell bottoms and a striped tee shirt. Luckily the color is so versatile that it will actually suit just about anything, but let’s be honest, the brassy hardware is totally 70s.
The shape of the Keep It All is consistent with the line’s pared down aesthetic, but the details make it unique. The cut-outs that accommodate the straps are a particularly nice touch, and the layering of the leather is absolutely sublime. The tailored look of the Keep It All ensures that you could carry it as a briefcase for work and a posh shoulder bag in the evening.
$1,350 seems like a reasonable price to pay for a bag that is so uniquely classic.
