Miu Miu is no longer on the top of my favorite lines list, but every now and again they come up with something that really surprises me. This studded leather shoulder bag is one of those bags.
The blue color of the leather is absolutely pitch perfect. It’s like the coolest color of denim, except that it’s not denim, it’s seriously smooth leather. The denim look is extended with the stiffness of the leather, which I really love. It makes the bag very durable and holds the structured shape perfectly.
This bag is a cowgirl’s dream. It’s got all of the best Western embellishments, but none of the over-the-top country flavor. Okay, well, the giant clasp might be a little much, but it suits the style really well. I particularly like the slim brown leather and chain strap. It gives the bag a little contrast, but not too much.
I really dig this style, but at $1,495, it’s really overpriced.
