Of course, all those terrible nautical metaphors are essentially just my way of saying that I really like the simple sailor inspiration going on in the Hibiscus tote. Of course, having a very large tote bag in a patent red fabric will no doubt be a little obvious to passers by. Whilst you can rest safe in the knowledge that you could use it as a lifebuoy or flotation device should you go over board, the sheer expanse of such a bright color may put people off. However, I think the cute retro pin up shape minimizes any negative associations, and makes the red much more wearable!
