This handbag really is all about subtlety. You have to look hard to see the dainty tegu lizard scales, but they make the finish look that much more opulent. The skin is softly pleated to give it a bit more volume and drama.
I love the look of the Colette’s triangular shape, but my practical side wonders how functional it would be. I can imagine small items like keys and cell phones getting lost in the corners, so make sure you make use of the pockets in the side walls.
All too often I refuse to even look at the price tags of exotic handbags, as I know I could never afford them. But at $1440, I don’t think the Colette is too exorbitant.
