This may well be the classiest design that I have seen from the creative designer Laura Matthews.
Patent leather always leans itself towards looking smart and work appropriate, especially when the shiny surface is smooth, sleek and uninterrupted by folds and wrinkles. The wallet-like fold-over design of this purse is consequently beautiful, and will make any outfit look as smart as physically possible. This is even more the case thanks to the unusual deep chocolate burgundy exterior, a color that technically is “purple” but which is unusual enough to look different to all those other patent purses on the market.
The design features, of course, can make or break a purse, and Laura Matthews Designs have made sure that they are a positive rather than a negative addition. That art deco black feature adds interest to the clutch without overpowering the quality materials (which would be a really bad thing in a bag that is going to cost you $146). I am not such a big fan in the paler bag options, where the high contrast makes the decoration look cheaper, but in this color it is great.
From the patent leather to the soft and classy suede lining, this is a subtle purse that still manages to pack a hefty punch of attitude.
