When I saw the bold colorblocked style of L.A.M.B.’s Clara hobo I was torn. I loved the vibrant retro appearance of the geometric colorblocked design, but I wasn’t sure I could pull it off on such a large scale. Enter the Fisher clutch, which happily solves my problem.
The Fisher takes everything I loved about the Clara but delivers it on a much smaller scale. In smaller doses it’s easier to appreciate the combination of distressed red lambskin, orange suede, and black patent leather trim. Of course they’ll still overwhelm some conservative fashionistas, but I think on this smaller purse it’ll win more fans.
This contemporary style lends itself more to daytime wear than posh evenings out, so it’s a good thing it’s big enough to fit everyday essentials. With larger dimensions than the average clutch, only packrats will need to leave items behind. I also like the interior zip pocket, which is much more practical than the tiny patch slips we typically see.
With its unique style and daytime application, the Fisher clutch is reasonably priced at $245.
