This just might be the best-looking Kathy Van Zeeland handbag I’ve seen. Her usual style is sometimes a tad too fussy and overdone for my taste, but I really like the easy style of this High Five Top Zip bag.
It still has the designer’s signature details like bold hardware, a large logo plate, and a hint of metallic. However, everything blends together so well that I probably wouldn’t recognize it as one of Van Zeeland’s designs if not for the oversized “Kathy” on the front.
The High Five collection has several other styles including a shopper and hobo, but the Top Zip handbag is my favorite by far with its rounded, slightly contemporary shape. It is also available in dark red, black, and deep blue patent finishes. This white version has the crispest look, though.
The stark-white color might not stay this clean-looking if you’re a regular bag abuser. However, it will look fabulous at first and will stay chic with a little care. The synthetic material also might not hold up as well as a real leather handbag, but it won’t hurt your pocketbook too much as it only retails for $79.
