I’ve been pleasantly surprised by many of the accessories from pop star Jessica Simpson’s signature fashion line. Sadly though, the Bliss tote isn’t one of these accessories.
The Bliss tote isn’t a bad tote per se, but it’s far too ordinary to deserve such a glowing moniker. The crocodile embossing is okay, but nothing to write home about, and the puckering around the base of the bag seems really awkward. I don’t mind the camel color, or any of the other hues available, but they are also a bit underwhelming. It’s all very pleasant, but incredibly middle of the road.
The interior shows a little more individuality, with its zippered central compartment, side pockets, and handy key clip. These functional features work with the zippered back pocket to create the kind of bag that makes staying organized easy.
But does anyone really think keeping our cargo in order is blissful? Even for a relatively affordable $98, I think Jessica Simpson has missed the mark here.
