The Gretel clutch is very cute, and a little twee. What with Glee being quite so popular at the moment, I am willing to bet that the combination of cute and twee will be a winner, and will pair beautifully with all the bows and cute little cardigans that are all over the High Street. The satin pattern itself is pretty whilst quite individual, and the soft folded fabric works well in contrast with the stiff patent trim.
J. Renee often create impractical handbags, but actually this clutch isn’t too bad. You have a reasonable amount of space, and a long and very much appreciated patent handle. You don’t, however, get real leather, despite the fact that this clutch costs $79.95.
If you don’t mind the glossy trim being synthetic, then this polka dot purse is bound to be a crowd pleaser.
