Have you ever seen a handbag that you love, but not known how to style it? If so, then you could probably use a few styling ideas to set you off on the right foot. Today’s handbag of choice is a lightweight summer purse from Serpui Marie, the Anaconda. Whilst many people tend to wear raffia style purses like this only in the daytime, I think it can work well for a simple yet elegant nighttime look.
Daytime
Whilst the woven straw look of this bag makes it instantly summery, the patent leather gives it something more of an edge. A daytime outfit can therefore push the boundaries with some bold beads, tribal inspired accessories, and a simply modern black and white palette. To stop the look being too aggressive I have chosen a simple black maxi dress, and teamed with some subtle splashes of yellow. You will look effortlessly cool!
Evening
To pull of the Serpui Marie clutch best in the evenings, you will want to avoid glitz, as it will clash with the pattern. I recommend a feminine approach, keeping to the black and white theme in a floaty and casual way. The black skinny jeans and on-trend clog heels will make sure the outfit is evening appropriate, whilst the soft blouse and form-fitting corset make it fancy and feminine. It’s sultry, subtle, and undeniably sexy.
