There’s something about this clutch that reminds me of Easter. I guess it’s the combination of weaving and white with the bow. In any case, I don’t mean that as a criticism. This bag has a fresh, clean, daytime look that will work from now until September, and even later if you’re a Labor Day rule-breaker.
The soft, rounded shape complements the woven texture beautifully, and the central bow is really a nice touch. I like that it’s woven in instead of applied to the bag, as an actual, three-dimensional bow would be too much. Instead, the only ornamentation is a preppy tassel that just looks perfect with the rest of the bag.
Overall, this clutch is well-balanced and versatile. It’s not exactly on the cutting edge of fashion, but it has a classic appeal that is timeless.
