Zac Posen Melody Shoulder Bag A sophisticated shoulder bag that's relatively affordable is music to my ears, so it's only fitting that Zac Posen called this purse from his Z Spoke diffusion line the Melody.

I was instantly attracted to the Melody’s stylish domed top and clean lines. The polished golden metal accent is a gorgeous complement to the rich navy lambskin. That's not our only option though. We'll also find the Melody in classic black and playful but polarizing pink.

The sunken zip helps the Melody maintain its modern look without forgetting security. Open it up to reveal a luxuriously large space with enough leather trimmed pockets to help us stay organized.

The only downside for me is the shoulder straps. While they look the part, they're just a shade too short for easy over the shoulder carrying. A bag this big really deserves more substantial straps to help us take advantage of all that space without compromising comfort.

My final request was to see the Melody affordably priced. All too often I fall hard for bags, only to find they'll cost me several months rent. However the Melody is much more achievable at just $425. For that price I can easily forgive the lacking straps, can't you?
