It's more than a little kitsch. In fact, some might even accuse it of being tacky. But if you don't take yourself too seriously, this Coco Treasures bag from Sun N' Sand could be just what you’re looking for. After all, it doesn't take itself too seriously either!

This bag is styled for summer, from the natural straw body to the chunky beaded details. The earth-toned beads are emphasized by white-toned suns and swirls, which feel a lot like the doodlings of a young child. Many might feel those markings give the Coco Treasures a juvenile look, but I'm sure others will appreciate the whimsy and innocence of the design.

It's all a little overworked for my taste, but the neutral color palette helps to tone things down. But I do wish there was a little more variation in the black and brown options. A pale natural straw variety or even a vibrant candy colored purse would have offered completely different looks.

I initially expected this straw bag to have the open top design of so many of its peers. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a zipper closure instead. Open it up to reveal an interior which skimps on the details, but offers plenty of space nonetheless.

This shoulder bag would be ideal for days at the beach or trips to the weekend markets. Just don't be surprised if it loses its appeal once the weather cools.
