Stuart Weitzman embraces its feminine side with the Labow handbag.

This is a purse for the girliest of girls, an unashamedly frothy concoction. The design is fairly traditional, but it's the accents that make this one of the most playful purses I've seen in some time. Perfect pleats decorate the front flap, while ribbon is woven through the chain strap. And of course, no girly bag would be complete without a bow. The back isn't quite as ornate, but soft pleats do save the satiny surface from being boring.

This is quite a generous purse as evening bags go, with plenty of space for carrying essentials and a couple of luxuries besides. It's so refreshing to find an evening bag which can handle more than the bare necessities! Thankfully the Ludlow also has the pockets to keep those extras in order.

The Labow handbag is available in taupe and a purple shade called viola, but for once I prefer basic black. With the ribbon and bow always black, this conservative shade creates the most unified look.
