Its black leatherette finish may not convince anyone that you're carrying a high-end designer purse, but that’s hardly the point. Rather than a mere luxury impersonator, this Spiegel bag simply offers the on-trend large rosette look for less. Rather than a four-figure sum, you can get this Ruffled Rosette bag for just $44.

Of course, Spiegel had to cut a few corners to keep the price down. It doesn't skimp on space, but it does let us down on features. Such a sizable bag needs much more than a simple slip pocket to stay organized. At least a zippered pocket would have seen small valuables staying put, but I'm pretty sure items will fall out of this open compartment.
