Sondra Roberts is one of my favourite handbag designers, because she is brave enough to create beautiful and unusual purses without feeling the need to charge the earth.

Cork isn't perhaps one of the automatic materials you would choose to make a clutch out of. However, in the same way that cork heels can actually look smart, this is great looking, especially with the animal print black stripes! Of course, cork also makes for a box clutch that is lightweight and consequently easy to carry, unless you fill it with too many belongings!

Cork won't stretch, and that is probably going to be one of the problems with this purse. You don't have much flexibility, especially with the rounded corners! However, it is wider than you would expect, and it has a functional optional chain strap to make your life simpler.
