Once we’ve gorged ourselves on ice-cream and cried through boxes of tissues, most of us are only too happy to move on from our exes. But with her cheekily named The Ex wristlet, Rebecca Minkoff’s created one she hopes we’ll want to keep around.
This is a modern wristlet, with edgy zippered accents and poppy leather in a color Rebecca Minkoff calls “Salmon Rose.” I wish those zippers had pockets underneath, but at least they work on an aesthetic level. Without them this simply shaped wristlet would have been a bit boring, so they’re really needed to pep things up.
Rebecca Minkoff might not make the best use of The Ex’s dimensions, but at least the interior is a decent size. It’ll hold the essentials, including a smart phone, lipstick, and credit card holder, but you may struggle to squeeze in much more than that. It’s made for stepping out for coffee or a quick café meal rather than spending a whole day out.
I also imagine The Ex would come in handy in the evenings. While it’s not showy enough to suit black tie events, that wrist strap would come in handy when you’re hitting the clubs. That loop is also removable for a clean, clutch look.
Frankly this Ex is much more useful than the average ex, and at $95 it’ll cost you less than that last mooching man you were with!
