British designer Radley tends to creates cute and quirky bags like the Foot Loose and Brighton. But every now and again they play it straight and show us they can produce a purse as chic and subtle as any luxury line.

Take the Lyric here. Its soft textured leather and sculpted round shape wouldn't look out of place on Rodeo Drive. But don't think Radley has lost its individuality. We see that on the criss-cross stitching around the top flap and handles. It's a subtle embellishment, but one which reminds us of the originality Radley is famous for.

True to Radley tradition, the top flap hides a practical design. Underneath there's a magnetic snap and a zipper too for extra security. Two zip pockets and two slip pockets make organizing this ample interior easy. And if you're still stuck for storage space, there are two more pockets on the sides.

If this Lyric seems a little large for you, it is available in a medium version. But be warned; the body isn't the only thing that shrinks. The smaller purse also has much shorter straps, which will frustrate girls that favor over-the-shoulder toting.
