Is there anything more cheerful than a yellow handbag? As I'm looking at this Puma Originals Mono Satchel in the color it calls spectra yellow, I can't think of a happier alternative!

Of course such a vivid hue won't be to everyone's taste. Personally though, I find this daring tone a welcome change from the sea of black, brown, and beige bags. And I think Puma gets away with such a bright color by keeping the rest of the satchel so simple. Even its logo is so subtly embossed that you need to look for it. The shape is classic, and its dimensions large but not enormous.

Puma typically creates gym gear, but I wouldn't let my stinky sneakers near this handbag. Its leather-like finish makes it much more appropriate for a day running errands, or even one in a creative office. The choice of handles and generous size makes this satchel even more versatile.

The color may make some people hesitate, but for just $75 I don't think we need to. At this price, we won't mind if it only makes occasional outings. And won't it add a delightful pop when it does step out?
