Miu Miu Plaid Flannel Bag Miu Miu's bags have become sort of a joke to me. For the most part, they're so overdesigned and overpriced that I just can't get behind the label, anymore. This plaid flannel bag, however, makes me see things a little differently.

The washed out plaid design on the flannel has a muted color scheme that gives the bag an instantly worn-in appeal. I'm a really big fan of plaid flannel, and I haven't seen this red and purple color scheme before. The pattern combined with the medium brown leather trim gives the bag a very preppy, outdoorsy sort of vibe, but I think with the right outfit, it could go grunge, too.

The slouchy style is given a bit of structure by all the strap accents. I love the boxy look combined with the fold over flap top. This is the kind of bag that will give all your casual outfits heritage-inspired charm. Except that at $1,350, it's a little pricier than your average lumberjack inspired fashion statement. Still, as far as Miu Miu is concerned, I think this is a step in the right direction.
