Miu Miu’s quirky signature style is the stuff that dreams are made of. Literally. The designer of the line, Miuccia Prada has said that she thinks in Prada but dreams in Miu Miu. This patent bow clutch is sleek and elegant, but has a hip vibe that will appeal to fashionistas of several generations.
The patent leather on this bow clutch is made of lambskin, which makes it extra soft and supple. The shine is basically unparalleled, but it will be more delicate than your average patent bag. As far as I’m concerned, this makes little difference, as the bag isn’t meant for everyday wear. It’s a slick evening style for big nights on the town or special occasions.
I love the simple pouch shape and hidden top zipper. Besides the metal bow, there is very little embellishment on the bag, which keeps the look pared down and minimal despite the ultra-glossy appearance. The bow, however, looks more like a flower than a bow, and I’m not completely in love with the design of it. It’s a little cutesy for a bag of this caliber.
