Miu Miu has come out with a lot of winning designs this season. It seems to be moving towards a less edgy, but still quirky and stylish aesthetic that will appeal to a more mature woman than it has historically targeted. This bow clutch combines its youthful design sensibility with a very grown up elegance.

The shape of this bag hardly matters, as it is completely covered in bow embellishments. That being said, I think the slim rectangular shape was a good choice, as it draws the eye along the bag and keeps it from looking too frumpy or frilly.

The rich black satin has the perfect amount of sheen and luster. Any shinier and the bag would look juvenile, but if it were any more matte the bows wouldn't stand out in the way that they do. Not that it's hard to notice these bows, since the bag is covered with them!

The bows are placed on the bag in crowded rows, and the way they bunch up together gives them an almost floral appearance. This is a very playful bag, but it also achieves a level of chic that will make it a quirky addition to a fabulous evening ensemble.
