Lodis has created something that manages to combine two hard-to-manage materials, bright gold and snakeskin, into a very classy purse. Perhaps the simple shape and frame design tone down what could be dramatically over the top? Even the risky combination of gold body and silver metal clasp make the Gala clutch look sophisticated!

Having gushed about the strangely attractive looks of this Goldfinger purse, I feel that I should criticize something. Anything. I suppose I could point out that the lack of a shoulder-strap is slightly inconvenient - but it does allow you to clasp this against your beautiful black evening gown - which will set it off perfectly!

At $110 this isn't exactly cheap, but you do get gorgeous snakeskin/croc-embossed leather for the price!
