Its name might suggest a bright red and white purse ready for the holidays, but the Laurel and Sunset Candy Stripe Tote is a much more vampish bag.

Instead of the traditional red and white candy combo you might expect, this tote features wide burgundy and black stripes. It might not be very festive, but the pairing is perfect for this wintery weather.

As with most bags at this price point, this tote isn't made from real leather. But the synthetic does a good impression thanks to its distressed treatment. It may not last as long as the more luxurious fabric, but in the short-term I can't fault the look.

At just $39.95, this tote delivers all that you'd expect. It's massive, so you'll always have enough space for everything you want to carry. There's a zippered pocket, a cell phone pouch, and an open slip inside to keep things organized. I'd probably appreciate more than this standard configuration to help my essentials stay in order, but in a bag of this price I certainly don't expect it.

This Laurel and Sunset tote is a good looking tote which will serve you well while it lasts. However at this price, don't be surprised if it falls apart within a year or two.
