Kara Ross Lucis Clutch | Luxury Ostrich and Patent Leather Purse

From the television screen to the red carpet, plenty of stars have fallen in love with the Lucis clutch from Kara Ross. Nico Reilly carried the natural python purse on Lipstick Jungle, while Lake Bell rocked the black anaconda clutch at the Downtown Film Festival.

The front flap design is a classic, but that doesn't mean it's boring. The tab closure features exotic leather, while the shiny gunmetal hardware is inlaid with faceted rock crystal. A magnetic seal under the tab offers security without disturbing the clutch's elegant good looks.

A large pocket in front of the main compartment offers more bang for your buck. The main section is luxuriously lined with suede and fitted with a zippered pocket on the back wall. Two slot lock tabs underneath the main flap help to hold the detachable patent leather strap. This shoulder strap is still a little skinny, but it's a lot more comfortable than those clutch chain straps we're used to!

The Lucis is available in a range of vibrant exotic leathers, including lizard, python, and alligator. All those colored luxury leathers make some of the clutches look a little busy. Personally I can't resist the understated charms of this white ostrich and patent leather purse. If only I had a spare $1600!
