Judith Leiber Cupcake Clutch | Sweet “Sex and the City” Styled Crystal Cake Minaudiere

There were so many bags to lust after in the original Sex and the City movie, but the one that really caught my eye was the Judith Leiber clutch carried by Charlotte's daughter. Lily's little strawberry cupcake purse may have sold out quickly, but the designer's now released another one which is so similar you can barely tell the difference.

This Cupcake Clutch is every bit as delicious, with its candy-colored crystal frosting and pink gemstone sprinkles. The gold accents only add to this purse's luxurious air. There's a gold clasp which fastens the clutch at the front, a golden chain to hold, and gold-colored leather lining when you peek inside.

Of course, that interior space is far from luxurious. Anything shaped like a cake isn't designed to be practical. But it's big enough to carry some cash, your essential cards, and the complimentary miniature vanity mirror. I just wonder where we're supposed to put our make-up. There's no sense adding a mirror to show us we need a touch-up, if we can't carry any cosmetics!

I guess at least if you're carrying this Judith Leiber purse, most people will be too dazzled by it to focus on your face. And well they should when you spend a massive $4295 on something so fun and frivolous!
