It seems Jessica Simpson is seeing the world through rose-colored glasses since giving birth to baby Maxwell. That’s the only explanation for her naming this fairly ordinary satchel Unforgettable.
Don’t get me wrong; this isn’t a bad satchel. It just struggles to live up to expectations. I quite like the leopard printed panels near the straps, and the sweet feminine bow detail. But its synthetic finish feels a bit cheap, as we might expect at this price point. The seams also aren’t finished as nicely as we’d see on a truly unforgettable purse.
This beige hue known as sand is really the pick of them. The bolder options, including flamingo pink and orange, are just too much. And I wouldn’t even consider the snake embossed leopard printed one. It’s well and truly jumped the shark!
The Unforgettable is quite a smart satchel though, with the right amount of space for everyday use and a convenient trio of internal pockets. The attachable cross-body strap adds extra versatility.
This Jessica Simpson satchel performs admirably, especially for the money. At $88 it represents real value. Just don’t expect it to make the lasting impression its name suggests.
