Wow. This is quite a clutch. Ed Hardy has pulled out all the stops to make this dramatic and obvious synthetic leather purse.
With a bold red patent body, wavy and noticeable shape, and quirky tattoo styled applique decoration, this isn’t going to be to everyone’s tastes. Any bag that is this bright is bound to divide the crowd, and unfortunately I come down on the side of dislike. However, fans of tattoo-esque art and blood red vibrancy may enjoy incorporating this into rockabilly or steam-punk inspired outfits.
As for the clutch itself, it is pretty standard for a small purse design. The adjustable strap and zip closure give it a boost in the practicality stakes, and you probably wouldn’t be disappointed from this approach. However, for $80 I would want real leather, as the synthetic version looks a little tackier.
The Sochi purse with its unusual quilting definitely doesn’t let anything restrain it!
