It might scream far too loudly for many bagistas, but there's definitely no ignoring the Queena satchel from Ed Hardy.

Ed Hardy is a label that doesn't believe in subtlety. While most high-end designers prefer to choose just one accent, on the Queena we see logo-quilted cotton canvas, edgy skull graphics, patent-like trim and a smattering of studs combined. Whether you think it works will probably depend on whether you're a fan of the brand. It's awfully busy, but for Ed Hardy devotees that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Whether you love the look or not, it's easy to appreciate the practical styling. Gusseted pockets on the side and zippered ones on the front and back give us a few options for stashing the things we need on hand. And that's all before we even get inside. There are plenty of pouches there too of both the zip and slip variety, not to mention a generous amount of storage space.

The removable shoulder strap is another functional touch, giving us the option of cross-body carrying or over-the-shoulder toting.

There are a lot of things to like about the Queena, but the price isn't one of them. While $220 isn't exactly expensive in the designer handbag world, it seems a little steep for canvas and synthetic.
