I must admit, the Liza's red color really turned my head. The glossy leatherette isn't the best quality synthetic I've seen, but that scarlet shade makes up for its shortcomings. I love way the polished finish is complemented by woven stripes, which help give definition to the tote's curved body. The woven details are mirrored in the woven pair of handles and the drawstring closure.

While I love the casual look it brings, that drawstring isn't the perfect closure. It's fiddly to use, and not very secure. Open it up to reveal a spacious and well appointed main compartment. The array of slip and zip pockets don't exceed our expectations, but they do meet them, which is notable at this price point. The fabric lining feel a bit cheap, but it at least does the trick.

At $119 this tote is an affordable way to bring some color to your winter wardrobe. It's got some shortcomings, but it represents great value for money.
