Alexander Wang has quickly developed a following with his edgy, rock-n-roll infused designs. I'm not a formal member of the cult or anything, but I happen to think the man's a genius with black leather. In his hands, leather looks heavy metal hard, but feels buttery soft.

The Hilary shopper is a handbag sure to develop a strong following. It combines the basic shape of a shopper with the slouch of a hobo, resulting a in a soft but structured look. It's 20" x 19" x 18" size is big enough to hold basically every item you could possibly need for a day on the go, but because of its slouchiness it won't look strange if you only throw a few things inside.

The stud detail on the front of the bag is what really seals the deal for me. There's basically nothing more badass than black metal studs on black leather, and that hard rocker edge is retained even though the ends of the studs have been lopped off, resulting in a more wearable, not to mention more practical, look. Can you imagine what a zillion pointy studs will do to a silk dress?

If I had $890 to spend freely right now, I would gladly fork it over for this hunk of handbag deliciousness. I even think the price is semi-reasonable, due to the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. Alexander Wang, please make a diffusion line before I start maxing out my credit cards.
