Although crossbody bags are all the rage right now, this Tignanello T Time version of the style is not my favorite by far. I’m never a huge fan of fabric covered in a logo print, though many designer bags like Dooney & Bourke have made it hugely popular. However, this handbag does have some other aspects that make it appealing.
The majority of people seek a crossbody for function first, which is what this Tignanello bag does best. It’s full of zippers and pockets perfect for tucking away small, important items.
Because of the slimness of the tote, the T Time won’t work for storing bulky or wide things, but it still has a convenient amount of compartment space. You’ll find two front zippered pockets and one on the back. The bottom of the bag has a flat panel making it practical to set down without tipping over – a feature I always appreciate.
Although the main part of the T Time is made from the printed fabric, the trim is a synthetic leather. I would expect that from a handbag that only costs $69, but it does kind of add to its slight unattractiveness. Overall, though, if you’re aiming for function over fashion for once, this Tignanello will serve you well. If you really want style, though, I’d go for Tignanello’s Touchable Tote instead.
