Moschino takes a traditional tote and adds a healthy dose of glitz with this Crackle bag.
The name comes from the crackly texture of its metallic red goatskin body. The surface is bold and glamorous, and certainly not for the faint hearted. You’ll need to be careful about what you wear this with, as it really does deserve to be the star of the show.
Moschino knows this skin needs little competition, so it keeps the tote’s design clean and simple. There are no further embellishments, and the gently curved top is the only deviation from the traditional tote shape.
The interior is just as luxurious as the outside, with ample space and opulent red satin lining. I love the attention to detail; the zippered pocket is double stitched for strength, and equipped with an adorable golden heart-shaped pull.
This is a purse that feels as luxurious as its price tag suggests. Many of us may balk at spending more than a thousand dollars on such a simply designed tote, but I’d still love this glitzy bag on my arm!
