Perhaps I’m just a bit difficult to please. After looking at one too many classic but uninspired handbags from Miu Miu, I began to long for something a little more flamboyant and fun. Well the label has delivered just that and then some with this Patent Leather Ruffle Bag.
While the classic bags bored me, this one just seems completely over the top. I might have loved the fuchsia and lilac colored ruffles as a kid, but with my adult tastes they just seem a bit tacky. They pop too loudly against the glossy black leather body. There’s too much shine, too much flash, and overall just too much.
It looks completely frivolous, but there are a few features that do their best to win me over. We can carry the purse by hand, or add the longer strap and sling it across our body. I wish the interior had a few more pockets and perks, but at least there is an open pouch to hold your cell. The black twill lining is also made to last, just like the high quality materials Miu Miu has utilized throughout this handbag.
But as I said earlier, perhaps I’m just difficult to please. If you want to get noticed, carrying this handbag will definitely do it!
