Have I been raving about Marc by Marc Jacobs. If not, sorry, because the line definitely deserves some love. This textured leather hobo is a fabulous example of how the brand combines hip urban styling and broad wearability.
The textured black leather on this bag is a really great choice. I always think of smooth leather as somehow edgier than textured. But the design of this bag is enough to keep it a little edgy and cool, so the texture of the leather makes it look a little more grown up and classy.
The design of this bag is so spot on, even if it isn’t really aptly named. After all, it’s more of a combination of style than strictly a hobo. It’s kind of a hobo/bucket bag hybrid, and I love its unique look. Plus, it has a great front pocket that is both super interesting and super practical. I love the bi-colored metal clasp.
$460 isn’t cheap, but you really can’t do better for the price. This bag is cool and sophisticated and totally timeless. Kudos, Marc Jacobs.
