Liz Claiborne opts for versatility over flash with this Croco Wristlet.
This purse won’t turn a lot of heads, but I can imagine it easily slotting into your daytime and evening wardrobe. The gray hue is sophisticated but a little bland. However it’s given some extra punch with some crocodile embossing and a glazed finish. Adding an exotic texture for interest has almost become clichéd, but I think it works well on this simple design.
However, for me the real showstopper in the large logo button which sits proudly on the center of the flap. I’ve never been a huge fan of logos, but this one is so abstract that it becomes a chic design feature.
This is a very slim wristlet, but it’s packed with features. There’s a zippered pocket dividing the interior into three sections, and another zippered pocket in the back wall. You’ll also find a snug pouch for your cell phone, and another large slip for holding receipts and paper money. Can you believe Claiborne’s gotten all that in a space that’s less than an inch wide?
Considering its classic versatility, I think this wristlet represents great value at $43.99.
