Jimmy Choo brings a little Western flair to the urban jungle with this Isola Hobo.
The Isola reminds me a bit of Cousin It’s relative from down South, with its long cascading fringe and star shaped studs. This hobo projects a very distinctive look to be sure, and that’s sure to scare many people off. But in a sea of bland handbags, one that makes a strong style statement like this has the stuff to stand out.
What I like most about the Isola is that despite its extravagant outer shell, the design is very practical. The dimensions are just right for everyday use, neither too big nor too small. There’s a place for all of your gadgets with four open pouches, and the zippered pocket can handle valuables like keys and loose change.
I think the Isola could look wonderful with the right outfit, and hideous with the wrong. Personally I wouldn’t be game to pair it with anything more complicated than a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt, but more daring fashionistas may be able to push the envelope further. As a rule though, keeping the rest of your ensemble simple will see this hobo at its best.
