Most of us know Inge Christopher for its beautiful evening bags adorned with shimmering beads and delicate embroidery. But the designer proves it can do casual wear just as well with this Helsinki hobo bag.
The soft satin body is classic hobo with its slouchy gathered appearance and relaxed vibe. But the boho-chic look gets a modern twist with the unique rivet details. These edgy accents bring a little rock and roll cred to the purse, which sits perfectly with the bold black and red colors. I’m not sure it’s quite as convincing on the smoky brown bag, but it still gives the hobo a unique look.
The satin-lined interior is spacious and luxurious looking, but if you’re looking for features you’re out of luck. There’s not even a side pocket to speak of, which makes organization tough with a bag of this size.
I love the modern look of the bracelet handle, but it’s not the most comfortable way to carry the Helsinki. If you’ve got a distance to travel I recommend using the practical drop-in shoulder strap. This silver chain tucks away inside the bag when not in use for an uncluttered appearance.
