There’s a fine line between whimsical and childish, but Felix Rey has well and truly crossed it with this Happy Knit Tote.
I suppose there’s a cheery charm to this smiling white face with his yellow pom-pom nose, but really. Can you imagine any fully grown adult wanting to carry this tote? It’s more than a little silly. Woolen totes might be on trend for the season, but something tells me this isn’t what the forecasters had in mind.
Thankfully it’s not quite as ridiculous inside. The black, plainweave lining will resist stains and go the distance. It’s relatively spacious, and secure with a magnetic clasp. I also like the shoulder straps, which should be pretty durable as they’re made from leather. But you know that I’m clutching at straws.
Truthfully, it doesn’t matter what is inside this tote. It’s just too silly for any of us to seriously consider carrying. Felix Rey has some nerve charging $120 for it!
