Chocolate brings a bit of flair to the traditional bucket bag with the Aubrey.
At first glance it seems like so many bucket bags, with its clean lines and distinctive silhouette. But Chocolate helps to set the purse apart with the strap, which is accented with laced grommets and edgy chains. I really like the approach, as it makes the Aubrey a little exciting but still versatile enough to carry at any time.
The Aubrey is a good size for everyday use, and well designed for this application. I really like the platform base, which makes sure the bag sits up straight once it’s set down. A few metal feet would have come in handy to protect the synthetic from scratches and scrapes, but it’s not something we really expect at this price point.
At $89, we expect a few corners to be cut. However, Chocolate gives us what really counts which makes the Aubrey a great buy for bag lovers on a budget.
