No one would ever accuse Timmy Woods of being a shrinking violet. Her weird and wonderful handbags are always eye-catching, even if they don’t suit everyone's tastes. Ordinarily I can get swept up in her off the wall creative vision, but the Lip Sync purse has me scratching my head.

The black and white lace body is reminiscent of the kind of clutch your grandmother would carry. Its vintage look would have appeared elegant with a delicate chain strap attached, but instead we have these lurid wooden lips.

Bright scarlet lips may be Timmy Woods trademark, but I'm still not sure that explains their appearance here. This vibrant detail is so outrageous it seems at odds with the purse’s quiet reserved nature. Sometimes different styles can work together to create something new and daring, but here it just looks a little silly.

But the Lip Sync purse isn't without charm. While most Timmy Woods accessories ask you to scale back, there's enough room here to carry your phone, keys, and other daily essentials. You'd never call it oversized, but compared to other Timmy Woods designs it's downright luxurious.

The Lip Sync is also relatively affordable with a retail value of $350. If you're looking to make a statement on a budget this could be your purse. I'm just not exactly sure what carrying this handbag would say!
