At first glance the nylon body seems like an uninspired choice. It certainly doesn’t arouse the kind of envy that buttery soft leather does, but it does deliver on the practical front. The fabric is lightweight, a real plus for a bag that’s likely to be used for travel. The nylon is also treated with Dupont Teflon Nanotechnology which gives it amazing stain resistant properties. That might not be a concern if you favor black or navy, but if gray’s your color it’s a definite bonus.
It’s so easy to open and close the main compartment thanks to the smooth, self-mending zipper. The large external pocket is a great place for stashing the essentials you need on hand like a passport, boarding pass, wallet, and cell phone. The padded, removable strap makes carrying comfortable, but if you’ve got a few bags you may prefer to use the sleeve on the back.
